Big Girl Bed

I am sure that every parent experiences life's little moments that tap you on the shoulder and say "hey, your baby is growing up!" We had one this week when we converted Abby's crib into her toddler day bed. I can't believe she is old enough to be in a big girl bed. It all started when she threw her leg over the crib rail. I could just see her tumbling to the floor in the middle of the night. We immediately converted the crib and it has been a huge hit. She has taken to it a lot better than I thought. She has slept 2 nights without any huge disruptions in sleep and it's great to see her smiling face come around the corner in the morning! The best part is she loves to play in her bed during the day. She puts her dolls to sleep, crawls in and out over and over and I'm sure there has been some jumping on the bed.
